Here at Borders Bulbs we supply only the best quality bulbs and plants.

We are based in Kelso in the Scottish Borders, home of some of the most famous Snowdrop woods in the country.

All of our plants are harvested on a managed, sustainable basis and their exact provenance is available on request. We make no claims of only selling cultivated/nursery grown stock as some companies do, even though they are in the woods digging wild flowers every year.

Our plants and bulbs are wood grown in their natural habitat and every stage of plant production is done by hand, from harvesting, grading through to packaging. We take great care when harvesting to preserve the quality of the plants and bulbs, you will never see ripped off leaves and flowers when we are lifting our plants. (anyone who has seen a wood hat has been ravished by squads will know what I am talking about!)

We have been asked if we have a special licence to dig Snowdrops, as some others claim, and the answer is No because there is no such licence. I can only assume that they make these claims to try to persuade people to buy from them. We believe in being honest to our customers.
